Love endures all things. Even the rain or major wind storms. When we left home the morning of Mary & Don’s wedding, the weather was not looking good and there were tornado watches. But, even with the lights flickering in the church during their ceremony and people’s cell phones vibrating with tornado warnings, this sweet couple pronounced their love to each other without hesitation and with smiles on their faces! The rain cleared up enough after the ceremony to still do a few outdoor photos, and then the day wrapped up with a night filled with fun, dancing, and the best food at the Angus Barn.
Their day was made special by family heirlooms integrated into their own wedding … like the cufflinks Don wore that were his grandfathers, and Mary’s garter with a penny for good luck that was her mothers. They had pictures of beloved family members that had passed on at the reception, symbolizing they were there in spirit. We always think it’s so special when couples include special details that include family.
And dancing! Oh, do these two have moves! Please don’t ever stop dancing together :) xoxo
