This is a project that has been in the making since the fall of 2011. I am not even sure how the original thought came about, but it was birthed between us and Michelle Clark during some late night creative discussion … and we realized that in all of the extensive searching that we did, we had never seen where someone had created wedding inspiration from Angry Birds.
It might seem like an odd subject, but it’s been quite popular to create wedding inspiration from various viral topics at the moment ranging from The Hunger Games movie to the Minecraft game. We were a little addicted to slinging the little birds through the air at the time, and thought that many of the elements from the game could be incorporated in a very classy, non-cartoony way that any bride could take inspiration from for in her wedding. It took a lot of planning and struggles to get the details just the way we envisioned for this shoot, and assemble an amazing vendor team … who also had to remain very tight-lipped about it all which was extremely hard! Since we had never seen it done before, we didn’t want anyone else to steal our idea before we had a chance to present it to the world :)
We were so excited when the feature was picked up by Rock ‘N Roll Bride, the famous wedding blog from the United Kingdom that specializes in featuring alternative and indie weddings .. and today it all went live on her website!
