“I’m giving you all my love, I’m still looking up …”
Anna and I just got home from our sixth anniversary getaway where we unplugged from everything digital and social media related, and just took a lot of time to enjoy what was going on around us and each other. What a blessing this time away was, and such a great time for refreshment. We came back feeling rested and more energized (and of course, even more eager for our beach vacation coming up soon!)
Today we started looking through the digital negatives (the film has been sent off to the lab!) from Jessica & Darren’s wedding this past Saturday, and everything looks so. gorgeous. Isn’t this just the perfect capture of the love they have for each other? Their wedding day makes us smile, because even though some unexpected things happened during the day (periods of torrential rain downpours) it didn’t stop them from smiling at each other, and still feeling joyful about their wedding day. They had also scheduled plenty of time for all their photos, so even though we had to adapt from our original plans there was still enough time to reorganize and get everything completed :) And, the rain cooled down this intensely hot day just in time for the ceremony!
