In May, we had the wonderful privilege of collaborating with the ladies at Rebecca Rose Events and a few other Charleston wedding professionals on a beautiful wedding editorial shoot at the River Oaks Charleston. Going to South Carolina is always so much fun, mostly because there is an abundance of spanish moss which is a little more rare here in our own home state! The River Oaks venue is absolutely lovely, with gorgeous European inspiration infused throughout, that wonderful spanish moss dripping everywhere, and a peaceful calm over the entire property that borders the Wando River. The owner, Marianne, has such a heart for her place and she puts her soul into each little detail. Couples that get married here are lucky to work with her! Becca and Cabelle from Rebecca Rose Events created gorgeous floral inspiration and details foraged from the land and inspired by the soft blue color palette. Working with them was a treat … they love film photography as much as we do, and did such a great job styling all the tiny details together to create the aesthetic of this shoot.
