Things we’re thankful for this year … good health, a wonderfully charming little girl, God providing for all of our needs without us even having to ask for the simple things each day, wonderful couples lined up for next year whose lives we are looking forward to blessing, and seven years of marriage during which we’ve fallen even more in love with each other.
Today, we invite you to gather round with us and give thanks together. In each other’s company, let’s look into one another’s eyes and express our heartfelt gratitude for each other. In the midst of conversations, laughter, the clinking of glasses, and the filling of dinner plates, let’s remember the reason we gather, and put away the noise and distractions. Let’s join hands, say a prayer of thanksgiving for all that we’ve been blessed with, and show why we are thankful for each other.
